Nice concept, but... 9 Jun 2007
By James Redding - Published on Amazon.com
I bought a DigiWiFi WL-F601 as an "upgrade" from a Canary Wireless HS10. The backlit display and the interface are improvements, but in a side-by-side comparison with the HS10, it only detects about half the wireless networks. I can be in the same room as the access point, but the DigiWiFi device may not detect it at all. I'll be keeping my HS10 and seeking a refund on the DigiWiFi.

Do not buy it! 8 Jan 2008
By H. Mesler - Published on Amazon.com
I too purchased this as an upgrade as James Redding did. My experience was even worse. The first unit did not power up at all. The second replacement unit did power up but compared to my Canary Wireless HS10 it basically is a hunk of junk. The display was mega small. It did not pick up 20% of what the HS10 did, not even my own Apple Wi-Fi! Don't waste your money.

Useless 25 Jan 2008
By John - Published on Amazon.com
This product is essentially useless. The range is so low that you literally must be sitting next to a transmitter. It does not detect any of the networks that my standard wireless laptop can see. It does not detect my company wireless network while sitting next to my laptop that is connected to the network! Completely useless.
