Shiatsu Three Massage Programs For The Back
- Shiatsu Shoulder Massage with control Track - adjust the massage to fit your height

Shoulder Position Adjustment
Once the shoulder massage function is on, you may adjust the massage position in the shoulder area by holding down either arrow button until the desired position is reached. The Up Arrow will move the mechanism up and the Down Arrow will move it down. Once you release the button, the mechanism will stop in that place.
Demo Button
For a brief demonstration of the features of the Shiatsu One Massage Cushion, press the Demo button. The unit will briefly go through each function. Once complete, the unit automatically turns off. The L.E.D. light will blink to indicate the active functions. You may adjust the massage position in the shoulder area by holding down either the Up or Down button till the desired position is reached.

Heat
For soothing heat when massage is on, simply press the heat button and the corresponding red LED light will illuminate. To deselect, press the button again and the corresponding LED light will turn off. Heat is available in both the back & shoulder areas, which are controlled separately. For your safety, heat cannot be turned on if the corresponding massage program is not on.
Spot Shiatsu for the Back
While the unit is in Shiatsu massage for the back, press either button to stop and focus the Shiatsu action in one place. Once the unit is operating in Spot Shiatsu, you may adjust the mechanism position by holding down either button until the desired position is reached. The Up Arrow will move the mechanism upwards and the Down Arrow will move it down. Once you release the button, the mechanism will stop in that place.
Vibration Massage
Add invigorating vibration massage to any shiatsu or rolling massage program.
Width Adjustment
While the unit is in Rolling massage for the back, press this button to adjust the distance or width between the massage heads. With each press, the massage heads will move to the next available position.
Carry Case Instructions
Carry Case Included
The HoMedics SBM-600H-GB comes with a carry case, stored in a compartment under the seat cushion. To access the carry case, make sure the cushion is unplugged and the cord is properly secured in the pocket between the cushion and the seat. With the cushion sitting upright in the chair, remove the bag from the compartment on the cushion (see Fig A). Unzip the bag and slide it over the cushion from the top down (see Fig B). Zip the bag and carry the cushion using the handles on the side of the bag (see Fig C).

If you want a nice relaxing end to a stressful day then taking a chill out on this for quarter of an hour is ideal, it has the ability to adjust the shoulder massage functionality and the width of the massage for the lower back.
The upsides to this are a relaxing massage, easy set up (a tall dining room chair that you can sit fairly upright on is more recommended), simple button press and your in action, warm heat can be applied if you wish at the upper and lower ends on the remote control. It gets all those knots out and soothes the aches and pains of every day life with simplicity, I think the shiatsu feature is great coupled with the shoulder massage - if the unit didn't have the shoulder feature I probably wouldn't bother as much with it as that's where I feel I get the most tense.
Downsides include the fact that it is fairly noisy especially with the vibration function on, the manual doesn't actually say where you should position the shoulder massage when you adjust it up or down for your height it's a little bit of guess work and go with what you feel is a nice massage!
It'd be great if you could adjust the speed of the massage too, towards the end of the massage it would be great to slow things up and allow you to sit there comfortably like when you have had a spa massage.
I would expect the remote to feel a little less plasticy for the price although the fabric and build quality of the rest of the item is superb. Also would be nice would be a feature to store the co-ordinate of your shoulders and lower back width like a good electric car seat does, having to set these every time is a little bit of a chore when you want to get on and slink into your favourite programme although only a minor hindrance!
It comes with a travel bag which tucks into the padded base as extra padding to sit on when in use and when packed away does fold up quite small albeit a heavy article as it feels like it wieghs a couple of stone.
The last point I would make is that the product packaging clearly states you need to remove the transit bolts for both the upper and lower massage system (a little like a washing machine come with a bolt in place to prevent transit damage), these fixings should also be tagged with a warning not to use the massager for more than the 15 minutes a day that the manual states, and the manual section of this isn't in bold text either - I state this as I had a good half hour plus on delivery and the next couple of days I was a little tender to say the least.
Can't beat a human to human skin to skin massage but when that isn't an option this fits in perfectly well, it's become a part of my every other day routine now! If you have a desk job where you feel you sit awkwardly and seem to be tensisng your shoulders a lot then try one of these out.

Compared to it's cheaper alternatives this massager is made out of higher quality material and it gives off better heat. I had one I picked up for £70 but I could barely feel it's warmth through my shirt so I replaced it with this one. It's a bit difficult to explain what it feels like but it's very relaxing! I usually get lower back pain after being on legs all day and this massager works a treat for helping me with the pain. I also use it before going to bed after a stressful day and it is very relaxing. The only problem I keep on having is that it keeps on sinking into my sofa so I have to use something a bit more sturdy like a hard chair. I assume you can even put it on the floor/against the wall.

I have owned this for a week and have to say that the quality of the massage is excellent for a machine. Most of the settings provide a very relaxing and soothing experience. My only real criticisms are that the shoulder massager is a little too high (I am not a small man at 5'11") and that the vibrations aren't powerful enough, particularly in the shoulder pad. Also be aware that this unit is not lightweight and there is a tendancy to undo all that great relaxation by over straining to get it back in its bag and putting it away.
Other than those minor niggles I am delighted with it and rapidly becoming addicted to it.

fantastic home massager
