Bought this for my dads xmas present, both my dad and I are big fans.
Really gets those knots and the effect lasts a long time too.
The heat mode works best but does get very hot after a while,
wouldn't recommend using product for more than 15 mins as advised.
Neck aches have disappeared but when they return I will be heading to my
dads again to get the massager. Works wonders !!!

I purchased this neck massager for my wife as she was suffering from neck stiffness, mainly from working on the computer at work. When the product arrived, my wife and I first impression was that the padding around the horseshoe shaped massager was quite thin. This initial judgement was confirmed after trying the massager for the first time and noticing that it sits too loosely around the neck. I think it would have been more comfortable if the massager consisted of thicker padding and felt a bit tighter around the neck, therefore reducing the need to continuously manually position it so that it properly targets the effected area.
The massager consists of two rotating motors, however we found they were not powerful enough and had to tug the massager handles forward in order for it to be effective, therefore creating unnecessary tension in the arms. In addition there is only one motor speed and motion, which was disappointing considering it is marketed as a Shiatsu massager.
For the price I paid I was expecting a lot more, therefore I wouldn't say it is great value for money, however there doesn't seem to be many alternative electric massager's of this type out there, so I would say it does an average job, but don't expect this to replace a masseuse.

This was a Christmas pressie from my mum after owning one of their massage chairs which is great but felt my neck missed out on a nice massage especially as I have problems with my muscles on the right hand side of my neck from using a computer over the years - this machine does the job but as the previous reviewer said the unit gets very hot after 5 mins so be warned !
Also to get the full benefit of the unit you have to hold onto the handles to keep it pulled against the neck to feel the massage.
I'm glad we bought this when it was on offer as deff worth the price but wouldn't pay more for it.
This unit is really good for anyone who uses a computer for a long time each day.

Relief
One of the best! had bad neck and head pains, but after using the massager approx 6 times, my neck and head pain has nearly disappeared. Worth its weight in gold for me.
