Hitman 2 and Contracts are fine but Hitman Blood Money is incompatible with PAL 50, which it makes it unplayable if you use a HDMI cable with an older console. This is isn't mentioned at all in the product description, so this is a massive let down. I remember Blood Money being pretty good, I guess...

I purchased this for a tenner when the price dropped for a new challenge on my xBox 360. I'm not bothered by having the very latest versions of games and do like a retro feel.

I have a 3 year old Panasonic Plasma connected by HDMI to my xBox. I wasn't aware of an problems as to compatibility ahead of purchase and therefore did not know that there was an issue with it being PAL 50 or 60 (whatever that means!) so the first disc would not load. I have never experienced any other issues of compatibility with any other xBox 360 game. I read that there is a 'workaround' by using a composite lead, but having played the second disc (Hitman : Contracts), the grahics were very dated, I personally found the gameplay a bit clunky and frustrating at times and didn't feel that I would want to go to any more expense for gameplay I that I personally didn't really enjoy.

I do love retro games and can see why many would like to relive gaming days of old, but as I didn't play it the first time around it didn't do much for me. It is a bit different from the usual 'kill em all' sort of games and requires a bit more of strategic approach so I think the concept is good. Perhaps I might have got into it a lot more if it had worked properly.

I sent this back to Amazon due to the compatibility issue and received a full and rapid refund without any quibble.

I am a big fan of the Hitman games, and when I heard that they were going to re-release Hitman 2, Blood Money and Contracts in the HD Collection I was excited as I haven't played them for years. The 3 games feel exactly the same as they used to be when they originally came out, as you can either be stealthy or go guns blazing and you won't lose points (unlike Absolution) and the disguises are exactly as I remembered. The only negativity I would say is when they said they were HD I assumed the graphics would be amazing, they have improved them a little bit than what they used to be, but not enough but it's still a fantastic game.

Anywho it is probably the most enjoyable game that has been released this year, and I hope on the next Hitman game they get rid of the point system and get the disguises sorted out to what it used to be as that for me destroys the enjoyment of playing Hitman Absolution.

You should buy this game as for £20 it's a bargain.

Three fantastic games - the HD shine they have added to them is nice but not too different from the original graphics. It would have been nice to play the original Hitman game - perhaps instead of Contracts - the weakest of the three titles. The fun of the Hitman games has always been playing out the perfect hits- all three of the games bring you a bevvy of scenarios to wet your homicidal whistle. All in all well worth it for the price.

I'd never played any games in the Hitman series until this was delivered, I found 1 and 2 unplayable due to the controls, they weren't as good as GTA 3, VC or SA for example. Blood Money was great, arguably better then Absolution. Gameplay identical to Blood Money but with Absolution's graphics and controls would be absolutely amazing to play. 5 stars solely for Blood Money being so much fun. I ruined it for myself by using a walkthrough for too many of the missions because I was dying to play Absolution after it. I regret it. Don't ruin the game for yourself and figure the missions out on your own, that's where the fun is and having all the inside info from the walkthrough authors in the back of my mind has slightly killed the replayability which should be great due to the sheer variety of ways in which you can take your targets (and anyone else!) down.

I have spent many happy hours playing this and the added bonus is you get three different games to play. I have completed two of the games on the hard mode now the wife is playing it. Great fun trying to shoot the target without getting caught, even played by shooting everyone while sneaking around and the crowd sceens are a hoot with everyone running for cover when you open up with your uzi machine pistol. Shoo, the good lady has been stuck on the river boat for weeks.
Did you know that in Canada. Residents are not allowed to have an Internet connection faster than 56k.

Modern games are nothing compared to these classics they present an actual challenge.
Unlike Absolution. This is perfect for the pure stealth enthusiast.

The perfect collection of the old HITMAN games, where blood money was my favourite of them. But was nice to be available to get the older games as well.

If your very proficient on hitman bloodmoney, and never played number two and contracts, its a reasonable price to go back to 47's roots. Very steep learning curve for beginners, so only the silentest of assassins should consider the task. If you've only ever played absolution, and are interested in see how the other games play out. Pick this up and play bloodmoney first, that will ease you into the rest.

Ahh so many happy (if a little gruesome) memories of these fantastic games. Nostalgia trip trebled. Whether smothering an old man in his sleep or poisoning a hillbilly's wedding cake, you'll be smiling like a psychopath all the way!
