This game has received some mild criticism for 'dumbing down'. But this game still feels completely true to the Hitmans of old. Brilliant visuals and a much smarter AI system make this gam a vast improvement technically than any other Hitman game. Professional edition box is very very nice and looks great on the shelf. The art book is great as well. Not a flimsy gloss paper floppy paperback but a very nice hardback book. The game comes with DLC which only comes to a total of about £2.50 on the PSN store but it's worth getting in this package. Highly recommend buying this to anyone.

I have played the Hitman franchise since the beginning and finished the book right before the game (not compulsory to read to understand the story) and I have to say, it is a little bit different but none the less, not a single fault I can find with it, it will keep you occupied for weeks on end if you are into the game series or even just starting. I can write an entire novel on how much awesomeness I can express for this game and how challenging the purist level is, but I have to go and play it now. 10/10 and defiantly a must buy! Okay, so I waited around 10 months for this to come out. I was that excited that I ended up preordering it elsewhere.
The game itself is incredible to be honest. The first mission is more of an interactive tutorial so that you can familiarise yourself with the different controls, settings and other options. There are five different difficulty settings. With the lowest one, your offered additional checkpoints, quick regeneration, instinct refills and so on. While on the highest difficulty setting, there are limited checkpoints, health doesn't regenerate and so on. The good thing being, if you find the game too hard then you can change the difficulty to a lower setting while still on the same level.
The game works on a scoring system basically. So depending on everything from how you've killed a target, who you've killed, were you spotted and what object you used-your rewarded points, which in turn unlocks special abilities for Agent 47 to use in the game. For each mission, they're are additional challenges which you can try and complete. Such as 'No disguises' for this one you must complete the mission without changing disguises, which can be a challenge itself!
Gameplay is pretty much yours to grasp. The options are endless realty, as if you use your initiative or even your instinct. There are plenty of disguises to change into such as a chef, mechanic or as truck driver. The weapons are endless too from your trusty fiberwire, poker, measuring tape and also an iron. So the choice is entirely yours how you deal with your target/s, just remember it's all logged!
Seeing as I bought the professional edition of the game for an extra £8.00 at the time it seemed worth it. For the extra cost, I got a rather nice looking case. In which houses the game case. Also behind the game case was an art book which has lots of really detailed images from the game. Opening the case also reveals a DVD disc in how Hitman Absolution was made, for anyone that is interested. I've not watched this as of yet. Last but not least, you get access to a few weapons with all upgrades unlocked already including a Submachine gun, shotgun and a pistol for use in both single and multiplayer gameplay.
The multilayer is called contracts, in which you create scenarios for you and your friends to play/compete in to see who does it better. In this you select a mission from the single player campaign and you are free to choice your choice of a target/multiple targets, the weapon/s, the disguises and the exit checkpoint for completing the contract. It's good as you can select a different weapon/and disguise for each of your targets-therefore making it more difficult to complete. In order to do well you must meet the requirements set in the contract and get to the exit checkpoint quickly. The multiplayer is fun for awhile, but afterwards can be boring so for me it is a little disappointing.
I ended up buying the Professional Edition hardback guide, which is a wise investment if your interested in doing all the challenges, trophies and everything else. By the way, I've now got the Platinum trophy for this game.

Ok if you are a massive stealth game fan
If you are a massive stealth game fan this is for you i do enjoy this game but i like a balance between stealth and fast paced action. Gameplay is good and graphics are great to.
