I have just bought one of these nail guns after getting fed up with all the noise and hassle of using an air finishing nailer. To say I am impressed would be an understatement! The gun worked straight out of the box, and fires first time, every time. It is very light weight, so would be suitable for even somebody that wants it just for DIY use. It certainly packs a punch, and all nails are sunk in just the right amount every time. Compared to the cost of a Paslode or a Dewalt finishing nail gun, this is a bargain, and does the same job.

Can't fault this product.I have been using the paslode for over 8 years now but couldn't bring myself to fork out the extra money.not dissapointed.alot lighter, feels good to use and has a faster charger.time wil tell if it lasts aslong as the padlode but so far as a joiner would recommend.

This is the second and now the last bad experience I have had with Hitachi nail guns.
Right out of the box it failed to work time and time again - battery fully charged, new gas, right gas nozzle (wrong one supplied by my dealer!)
I also have the framing nailer which is equally crap (but at least works once in very ten attempt at use)
My advice is to avoid these machines all together in preference to air driven nailers which though, bulky, noisy and inconvenient do at least work with an acceptable degree of reliability.
Some report good results with other brands but these ensure that you pay their over inflated prices for gas and nails by fitting their own gas canisters with a chip without which the gun won't fire.

All other Hitachi products I have owned have been very good but their gas nailers are absolute junk! - I will never touch another.
