This is as good as any Paslode or other gas fired nailer I have used..... but at a fraction of the price.

A slight niggle is the batteries are a real PITA to remove, but apart from that its perfect.

I've just completed a timber frame house (5 boxes of 90mm nails)and I've had a couple of misfire and one jam....that's impressive

Just a word of caution, be careful of the gas used in the gun, it'll take all leading brands of gas / nails, but I found this works the best using Firmahold gas (especially in winter as the gas is rated to -5)

I'm a builder and opted for the Hitachi mainly on price. The reviews for this and the Paslode were comparable but because I am never going to use it all day every day the price difference lead my final choice. I use Paslode nails and gas because this is much easier to get than Hitachi's own brand consumables.
This nailer has done the job for me every time. There's no waiting time between firing, by the time the nailer is in position it's ready to go. Loading of nails and gas is easy and the battery lasts for ages. Having two batteries just makes this better. It is also very light.
The case holds everything neatly and there's room for a few nails in there too.
I'm considering the purchase of a Hitachi finishing nailer too, I shan't even look for at other brands.

BRILLIANT, carpentry is my life, this is top quality gun, as good as any paslode and fires everything an IM350 can fire, lighter than paslode and sturdy rubber putter casing. Been using it on frame work for a few weeks now put 4-5000 90mm nails throught it so far and think Iv had one miss fire! Great nailer

Have used the pasalode and this is just as good.
It doesn't get used full time but still gets a decent work out every week.
Some reviews say the battery is awkward but I don't really have a problem, yes the pasalode is an easier battery load but that's about it!

I've used paslode guns, but this Hitachi is as good and costs a lot less. Some nice features, ergonomically good. Only comment is that the battery is hard to get out.
