hitachi 2tb hard drive

I have owned hitachi hard drives for over 10 years and would trust my data to no other. I currently own 2tb x 2 and took my old 1tb out to fill a Blacx dock for editing video and music. All my drives have lasted 6+ years, and I have yet to have one fail before I upgraded to the bigger capacity drive. I am extremely hard on my equipment, editing no less than 1gb of music per week. A fair test for any drive.

Great drive

After trying several Western Digital and Seagate drives in the 1.5TB to 2TB range, and having every one start failing in a matter of days, I decided to give Hitachi a shot.
I've been very pleased with these drives in my NAS server, and after 3 months of constant heavy use they are as fast and error-free as when they started. I'll be picking up more of these drives as soon as I need more capacity.

Failed after 1 year

I bought this hard drive 1 year ago. Now it has around 1500 bad sectors. Not much more to say other than that I am underwhelmed by the reliability.
