If you like cheese, you'll love these!,

This review is from: The Hit List: 24 Hot 100 American Chartbusters of the 1970s (Audio CD)
I've played this to death since I got it a couple of months ago - the breezy, cheesy tracks are ideal for in-car singalongs. Yet you're unlikely to have heard many of them before - few were hits in the UK, and with one or two exceptions most of the artists are obscure even in the US. Those you will have heard of show another side of their game - Lulu with the classy US-recorded "Oh Me Oh My", The Righteous Brothers in a rather different way with the hilariously awful "Rock and Roll Heaven". But most of the standout tracks, like "Westbound #9" and "Come and Get Your Love", are by artists that have since slipped down the back of the sofa of musical history.
Bitchin'!
