I have to disagree wholeheartedly with the previous two reviews. This is probably because I heard this album before I heard the original tracks, and I'm completely besotted with the sounds on this one. When 'It's my life' is playing, if you close your eyes you can easily believe you're actually in the rainforest, seagulls or no seagulls! There is not a bad track on here. Trust me, this is intoxicating stuff.

Great title: a play on the title of the `best of' package released in the previous year (`Natural History'), with revisiting consisting of remixes of the `best of'. So what do we get for our money?

Amongst the remixing we get more echo, we have voices and bass higher in the mix, we have added rhythm tracks, and some of the original rhythms are made more choppy. In one track, `Today' mixed by Gary Miller layers have been removed to give the song more space. The `tropical rainforest' remix of `It's My Life' by Dominic Woosey is restrained, but with added animal noises, although I'm not sure that sheep and seagulls would be found in a tropical rainforest.

In conclusion, the originals are much better. Most of the remixes here are destined for the dancefloor. There is no radicalism, alas. In short, this is a curiosity for the die-hard fan only.

This was the dance remix of their great album Natural History, and a bit of a disappointment. Although very danceable, the harsh beat has the tendency to drown out the delicate sound of the group and to overshadow the subtleties of the music. Perhaps it's not an unimaginative remix for dancefloor purposes, but it certainly doesn't improve the music. Not for Talk Talk loyalists.

Always been a big fan of Talk Talk and Mark Hollis in the 1980's ... Thought that they were a very underrated band and should
have been far more commercially successful ... The trouble with them is that they got tagged with all the other New Romantic
bands of that era and were unfortunately not perceived as a talented act and were very much forgotten ...Of course now everyone
praises this band as a very inspirational act nowadays ...I really like a lot of their later work found on their Spirit of Eden and
Laughing Stock albums .... I wanted to particularly purchase the History Revisited Remix album since it was withdrawn shortly
after it's release since the band didn't want their record label, EMI to release it and successfully sued them ... Therefore this purchase is a good collector's item and record collectors rarity for me, since I'm a loyal fan of this band,
