Giles,
This review is from: The History of the World According to Giles: 50 Years of Headlines as Seen by the 20th Century's Greatest Cartoonist (Hardcover)
As a regular fan of Giles back in the old days, it is always pleasurable to pick up a copy of one of the many published compilations, that just seem to hit the nail on the head relating to daily life matters, and I have yet to find anyone who gets anywhere near to the mark on topical humour of a day to day view of life, the characters are portrayed in such a way as to make every cartoon page one that has to be scrutinised for facial expressions, character positioning and actions, the man just seems to have that natural ability to hit the nail on the head, and when David Cameron today tells us, "all we are all in it together," I am afraid that I can just imagine Giles interpreting that one liner!!!

Giles book,
This review is from: The History of the World According to Giles: 50 Years of Headlines as Seen by the 20th Century's Greatest Cartoonist (Hardcover)
This was a present so I haven't read it all but a quick look showed me that it will be an excellent book.

They could put out a book of Giles least popular cartoons and they would still be miles ahead of the competition. The combination of art, humour and current affairs is unsurpassed.
