The Three Volume History of Sicily was received in good condition. I disagree with the price charge of $ 178. The original retail price was around $ 60. I was taken advantage of.

BEWARE! THIS IS VERY ABRIDGED! 9 May 2011

I bought this book thinking it was the third volume of the History of Sicily by the same authors. However, it is a very abridged version of the entire three volume set, extending from early Greek times to just after WWII. If you want a 200+ page history that doesn't go into great depth, this is excellent. However, if you're seeking the more in depth three volume series, look elsewhere.
