I agree with the above review. History's Mysteries is entertaining, educational and very well-done. And because the presenters are experts too, they really do solve the mysteries, some of which actually have real historical significance. I was expecting them to just travel about Britain, going 'Ooh - this is mysterious!'.
The only thing I would've liked is a longer programme (maybe 45 mins instead of 30 mins), perhaps including more detail of the investigation, and more of the history of the events surrounding it. In one episode, the architectural historian finds what could be an underground WWII bunker, possibly connected to the mystery they are investigating. But then for some reason this isn't explored at all in the programme, which is a bit disappointing.
But overall this is great TV. Makes me want to go out and investigate something historical.
