This review is from: A History of the Jacob Sheep (Paperback)
Araminta Aldington has produced a book filled with pictures of Jacob as well as spotted sheep and artifacts from centuries BC to the present time. Timelines, the British Isle flocks of Jacob Sheep pre 1969, as well as the first 100 members of the JSS are included. There are so many color and black and white pictures throughout the book they could almost tell the story on their own. The extensive research that went into writing and publishing this book is evident in the browsing alone. Anybody interested in this rare and old breed will find a pleasure owning and using this beautiful book.
