5.0 out of 5 stars Horsham and Richard Collier 16 Jan 2009
Format:Paperback
I read this book with much enthusiasm. As a Christ's Hospital boy from Horsham; and Colliers School also being in Horsham I wanted to know the history of Colliers as I already knew that of Christ's Hospital.Richard Colliers first school was helf in the entrance to the Parish Church in Horsham.
The book is put together in such a way that it can be "put down" often and still have something to keep the imagination going when picked up again..
As well as satisfying my interest in Colliers School it also made me aware of the long history of Horsham and its
ancestery.
I think Horsham has more than a 100 listed buildings and many of them get a mention...The book is truely amazing from one so young who not only wrote the book but printed it, bound it and published it!!
This also interested me because I did all this book work whilst I was at Christ's Hospital( not publishing) though with todays computers you can do this too!!!!!
