More About the Author

I was born and brought up in London and still live there. As you'll see from the list of books available here, I keep myself busy! I've written poetry and picture books, short and long fiction and educational books and plays. Highlights for 2013 include STORIES OF WORLD WAR ONE (Orchard), an anthology of stories by some of today's top children's writers that I've edited; MY BROTHER'S KEEPER (A&C Black), a story about the First World War I've written with my son Tom; and some more books in the brilliant OUP Project X reading scheme.
