I was eager to read this book as I had heard about Rebecca being the first person in Ireland to go for the full 'sex change' operation. She has been through hell and back and this book follows her story from horrendous abuse in her early childhood as a puny young boy to the amazingly strong woman she is today. It is written as if she is sitting there in your kitchen telling her story. Just as a memoir should be written. A fascinating read by all accounts.
