Wonderful vocal range! 3 Feb. 2013
By Michael Dale Taylor - Published on Amazon.com

Wonderful vocal range, delivered from a wonderful heart!
Pat makes even the covers his own, while tipping his hat to the past and honoring his father in the process.
Love the untitled vocal ditty at the end but I think it belongs at the beginning of the album.
Every time I listen to this album it makes my happy.
The worst part is Pat hasn't recorded any follow albums that I have heard of yet.
A Hidden Gem 23 Jun. 2013

His Father's Son is both a fitting tribute to his father's legacy and a wonderful introduction to the singular blues talent of Pat himself. Like the previous reviewer, I just can't help but smile when I listen to this disk. It has an easy feel, and it just makes you tap your feet. This CD makes regular extended stays in my truck CD player, and I haven't removed it from iPod since I bought it. I think it may be Broke and Hungry Records most underrated gem. The best news is that Pat finally has a second album just out called Beefsteak Blues!
