Fantastic product as is totally waterproof, hot washable and child can sleep directly on it. Much better than crunchy, sweaty under-sheet protectors which make bed changing in the middle of the night even more of a hassle. Buying two is well worth the investment. Can be tumble dried too, but now mine have been through the mill for a couple of years they have shrunk and are hard to get on, so avoid tumbling to make them last longer.

This is a great product for help when trying to get your kid going through the night without a nappy - hard-wearing, quick-drying, tough but covered in a cotton sheet, fitted so easy to put on and take off. So good we went back for another. Highly recommended and seemingly better than the other products we looked at that were cheaper and would no doubt have been a false economy.

I bought two of these and they have been great. Not plasticy or noisy on the bed and thin enough to get another sheet over the top easily.

A bit disappointed
I have only used disposible pads before. The hippychick mattress did it's job in protecting the bed but was not absorbent enough. Her trousers and top were very wet.
