With no dangerous ties or large expanses of fabric, Bumpsters Cot Bar Bumpers simply attach securely with Velcro. They can be adjusted to fit the size of the cot bars and, unlike standard cot bumpers, still allow air to circulate the cot by wrapping directly around the bars rather than covering them.
Each cot bar bumper is padded to ensure a softer edge for a baby’s cot. With no ties or fiddly attachments they create stunning, ultra effective cushioned protection in seconds! They can be positioned wherever the actual need is and come in packs of six large or eight small.
Extremely versatile, Bumpsters can be arranged in a variety of ways to see your child through the whole stage of cot sleeping, from newborn to toddler. These do what they say - lovely quality bumpers that go round 2 bars on the sides of my cot and 1 of the thicker bars on the end. They are well padded, allow my baby to see out still when lying down, allow airflow and don't seem to be useful for climbing for a 10month baby who's already mastered the stairs at cracking pace!
The neutral colour is good, matches cream bedlinen nicely and would be ideal for boy or girl.
But they do have some negatives:
Too short - they only come up about 20cm and so just under half the way up the cot from the matress, which means my LO still bangs his head above them from time to time. I think this is probably similar for most bumpers.
Velcro shows on the outside when stretching around 2 bars which somewhat spoils the look but not disasterously.
FAR TOO EXPENSIVE! I only bought these when they were in a 3 for 2 sale and with discount code. I bought 3 packs, which means I can cover all but 1 end of the cot, but I'd need 4 packs for the whole cot, which would end up costing about the same as the cot itself at full price!!!
Overall, I'm glad I bought them and especially pleased with the quality, but I couldn't honestly recommend them at full price.

Portable cot bumpers - each 1 covers 2 cot bars, so allow air to flow through into cot & baby can still see out of cot, but doesn't bump his head! Mixed pack of stripes and spots, which baby enjoys looking at. I bought these as thought they would be safer than the traditional cot bumper (which doesn't allow air flow). Very pleased with this product, however there are only 6 bumpers in 1 pack (which cover 12 cot bars), so I had to buy a few packs which is expensive.
