this would be an essential release if it wasn't for the pitch problems, it needs slowing down by 1 semitone, Iggy sounds like a chipmunk, its a shame as this is a great period for Live Iggy shows,

...the severe feedback on a few tracks, notably The Passenger, where a great version is squealed ALL OVER!!. However - what you need to do is buy this, which is a really great performance and, for the most part, a recording good enough to enjoy the gig in all it's intensity, then you need to get hold of the version of The Passenger which is usually listed as being from the Manchester Apollo in 1977. Not too hard. It's floating around. Then you get a great version of The Passenger, very similar to that on the Paris CD, but without the horrid feedback! Voila!

ig is not well.. he does a little too much medicine these days.. it affects his persona and everything around him.. hence the lust for life tour. mad, zombied and live wire.. so much better than the previous years effort, jims trying to squeeze as many gigs out here before he dies.. 1977 tour! a suitably scary set with jim preaching as usual, and the band all needing the next fix.. they cut nightclubbing from the set for a single, find it if you can.. again its on fire and if you are trying this/jim for the first time, dont get this.. it will scare you off! i dont mean its bad.. i just mean its wrong.. very wrong! it may even change your outlook on things..
