This book is one of the few that made me want to read on & on. Me being 14 a book has to be interesting. There is a surprise in every chapter and some tragic events anyone can relate to. If you have read S.E. Hinton's books before I recommend this one.

I know this is a childrens book but I first read it in my early twenties and have read it several times since then. Although simply written, it is the most poignant book I have ever read and may be interpreted and appreciated on many different levels. You MUST read this book!
