This is an easily accessible book to share with young children, both in content of the stories and illustrations. It is also informative for less knowledgeable adults, giving snippets of explanitory background information.

Hindu Stories 29 Oct 2006
By quest
Format:Hardcover
I found this book extermely well written and illustrated. Initially I used this book to set the theme for Diwali, requiring a gentle introduction into Ram's rescue of Sita. My chuldren aged 5 and 7 loved the language and style of writing so much that we soon delved into the other stories and they take great pride in recounting the story of Ganesh and Krishna to their grandparents. Easy enough for both to read. Highly recommended. The consultant to this book is the durector of Educational materials at ISKON. Certainly one for the bookshelf.
