We bought this thinking that the post would be easily removable from the socket base. Unfortunately this is not the case, so we are left with keeping the post permanently in position.

That said, if you are not fussed about removing the post to clear it out of the way, it is very sturdy!

Again, is a clothes pole so does what it says really. Easy enough to fix in place, might be best with 2 pairs of hands. Instructions could be clearer mind, especially if someone hadn't put a nice big sticker over them before delivery!! Still don't know why there is a small cross piece at the base of the pole but it came out ewasy enough to release the socket. But as a clothes pole I have to say is rock steady and solid.

if you want a strong clothes line pole this is the one. We've fixed ours permanently but there are instructions should you want it to be movable. You do need concrete to fix it in though.
