Hillbilly Terrain Electric Golf Trolley
Have been using a cheap £95 electric trolley for 4 years without any problems apart from battery is now starting to fade on the 18th......Purchased The HIllbilly Terrain and on first use there was a nasty clicking from the LH wheel..on inspection the hub surrounding the bearing was cracked..this could have been in transit, though I did check it over before using it.. Also a clicking from the RH wheel.
I contacted Hillbilly direct and after providing them with serial numbers etc.They sent me two new wheels ..minus the bearings.....they arrived the following day and after swapping the bearings it is now ok...The only crib I have is the maximum speed of the trolley which is no where near the speed of my old one...and not up to my natural pace of walking...As usual with a lot of trolleys the bag tends to twist to one side...The general build seems ok though I am bit concerned as to the durability of the plate that secures the bearing assy.. 4 screws attach it to the plastic holes in the wheel.....The wheel tyres are solid and are not brilliant over bumpy ground although the grip seems ok..I have now used it on 4 occasions and the Battery lasts well over 18 holes..There is an adjustment on the front single wheel to keep the trolly in a strait line...Turning the trolley you need to apply a bit of back pressure on the handle to lift the front wheel of the ground.. Have not used the auto distance controls as when I tried I couldnt reset it ( must read the instructions).. The motyor runs smooth and quiet.... but is situated under the Battery and could be liable to damage over very uneven ground...On a foot note ,the battery can only be charged with the adaptor sent with it due to the strange connecting terminal..

Have had this trolley for a few months now and am disappointed. Bought it because previous trolley was too heavy. This is lighter but still heavy. But main disappointment is that trolley has a major fault . The front wheel is partially enclosed and in muddy conditions it soon becomes completely clogged up and won't turn at all. I contacted Hill Billy to ask if there was an easy or quick way to clear the mud and was told that there wasn't. Seems it is just a fine weather item. Shame.

Hillbilly Electric golf trolley
