This performance was filmed in March 1990, at Long Island's Nassau Coliseum. They also share their thoughts and a few anecdotes.

This concert in front of a massive live audience by The Highwaymen is simply a must for all fans of good, quality, music, not only Country music fans. My husband and I have owned the VHS video of this concert for years now and have watched it dozens of times without ever tiring of it, and we never will. The songs, singers and backing musicians are SIMPLY THE BEST you will get. Put it on and I guarantee you will not be able to turn it off until the very last song and it just gets better and better. The sad part is, this will never be repeated, because only Willie and Kris are still alive, and my biggest disappointment is that I was never able to see them perform this concert live. It must have been the most wonderful experience. I have just ordered the DVD format of it and can't wait for it to arrive. Buy it now. Nobody should miss such a wonderful performance by four of the very best musical talents.

This is nothing but a masterpiece ! the 4 artists at their top, very nice images, a perfect sound, beautiful melodies, perfectly sung by each of them, marvelous recording of a magic instant.Whoever you like, regretted Waylon, Johnny or Willie or Kriss they are all perfect I had this in Vhs and kept it very carefully I immediately buy it back in dvd format.
I'm so happy it's coming back in this new format for the first time. Do not lose one second rush and buy it you'll never regret.

Format:VHS Tape
I actually bought this video for my Dad as a present but I found myself having to order another copy for myself.
Johnny, Waylon, Kris and Willie are four of the most talented musicans I have ever heard. Each one is fantastic alone, but together they cant be believed.
With such songs as Desperatos waiting for a train, Big river and Deportee, this makes this video an absolute classic. I would love to meet the person who can watch this video and say that they were not touched by it.....if you never buy another video again, make this your last one!!!

I'd give this DVD six stars if I could! The sound and picture quality are first class and I would recommend it to any fans of Kris, Willie, Waylon or Johnny.

Highwaymen live 1990 dvd
wated a long time to get this, but well worth it. they were great together and it is sad that they are now a duo - we hope they continue to sing together for a long time

Pure Enjoyment of seeing four of the greatest Country stars rocking...
It was an utter joy to see and hear these four great artistes working together and bouncing off one another. 100% feel good factor. Brilliant muscianship.
