More of a musical album than his previouse power efforts, Highly strung is none the less a listenable album.

Opener Camino Royale evokes the usual Hackett style with a new, fresher, twist. While the album's finale, Hackett to Pieces, was first played on the GTR album.

More of a period piece than any other album, except maybe Cured, but still a worthwhile addition.

A good album with the likes of Camino Royale and Hackett to Pieces (a variation on a theme) and Walking thru Walls. Not as good as his first 4 albums but definitely worth buying.
