Highland Drove 1 May 2011
Format:Hardcover
This book is about the recreation of a cattle drove from the Isle of Skye to Crieff in Perthshire, Ian Keay and his friends walked the cattle on average 12/15 miles per day in all weathers. I found it to be a fascinating read. It was an authentic insight into the art and skill of driving cattle over a very rough terrain. I have had my own copy for about 15 years, this copy was purchased for a friend who has like myself an interest in Highland cattle and the History of droving.
