As a Head of Mathematics, this book is the Higher level text book I have been looking for. It contains clear explanations followed by easy to understand exercises. There are more than enough questions for even the quickest student to do. The level of difficulty progresses well throughout each exercise. Examination questions are included at the end of each chapter and there is a useful section in each chapter's summary as to 'how do you grade yourself'. Don't be put off by the fact that it is not as colourful as some textbooks. The content is what matters. However there does not seem to be quite the level of algebraic manipulation that is found in many Higher level text books and this may need to be supplemented from elsewhere.

An excellent choice of textbook which is well presented and easy to follow.

There are numerous examples for extra practise along with past examination questions.

There is also a 'Homework Book' which complements the textbook providing even more appropriate examples for those people which require them

I am a Home Educated GCSE student who's been studying with the 'Higher Mathematics for GCSE' textbook for the last few months - and I have to say it's one of the best I've used.

It's precise, set out clearly, and unlike most "Higher" textbooks it contains exercises that could challenge even the best mathematical brain. The presence of examination questions from previous GCSE papers at the end of each set chapter also proves very useful.
