This review is from: Mathematics for Edexcel GCSE: Intermediate Tier (Main Text) (Hardcover)
This is quite simply the best GCSE maths text book available in the UK today.

It covers all the material from the latest syllabus (whoops, sorry, specification)and has lucid, clear examples, good quality exercises, summary sections and exam style questions. There is also a thinner companion work book type with even more questions.

I think that this is better than Rayner and also definitely better than the Edexcel endorsed Heinemann book.

If you are a parent or a student looking to secure a good grade, then look no further, if you are in a department, seriously consider this as your adopted text - at least have one copy for reference.

Each chapter in the book has revision notes (all summary you need to know) and have to say the questions set are challenging and therefore gives a good practise on answering such questions.
