Love it... 7 Jun 2010
Format:DVD
Saw it first at a cinema showing and it's something I can watch again and again. It gives a very interesting insight into the origins of Detroit Techno music with interviews from the main innovators.

This is a good buy in my opinion. Tells you in depth about the conception of detroit techno and the main players. If you are already into detroit techno then you will allready know most of the info and it doesnt really shed any new light but still... its inspirational. If you are into making electronic music, rather than listening, this is a must, even shows you bits of studio footage and kit lists. Only 4 stars? well the DVD boasts about music within the DVD?? there is none to speak of, just background interview stuff. Dont pay too much though as a couple of watches and that will be it. Keep the 808's and 909's banging.

All the big ones telling ONE story, the Techno story!

Greatly shot, really intersting.

Would suggest it to anyone curious to know how everything started.
