Having had this cable now for 2 weeks, I can honestly say this does the job of a £50 cable to exactly the same standard. I have used it to connect my PS3 and HD TV and both give me brilliant quality and clarity of picture.
An added bonus with this purchase is - that the cable is guaranteed for 10 years- so definately worth paying that extra £1.
Do yourself a favour and dont ever buy cables from high street retailers, complete rip off!!

Just check out the ridiculous prices for HDMI leads in the high street stores - anything from just a few pounds to prices approaching £100! Well here for just a few pounds is a 5 metre HDMI lead, perfect for connecting my laptop to my 51" TV and allowing me to have the laptop close by for easy control of whatever it is I am watching. There may be benefits with more expensive leads but I am yet to be convinced. (I have my DVD and Sky HD box connected with 1 metre HDMI leads bought of Amazon for about a pound each - picture and sound quality seem to be more than adequate.)

HDMI - 5 MTR Cable value for money
The cable has come in handy showing pictures to friends and family using a Andriod Tablet that has HD capabilities. For the price you can't go wrong. Down side none found as yet.
