Disney’s huge hit franchise of the moment never has, and perhaps never will, see the inside of a cinema. But given the millions upon millions of followers across the globe, the DVD release of High School Musical 2 will nonetheless rival the sales of any blockbuster you care to mention.
And why shouldn’t it? Grounded firmly in the family spirit that classic Disney movies are renowned for, High School Musical 2 isn’t the most radical movie you’re ever likely to see, but it’s had few recent rivals where outright fun is concerned. The plot this time sees Troy, Gabriella, Ryan, Chad, Taylor and Sharpay in the midst of organising a talent competition during their school holidays, which proves all the excuse the film needs to bring on the musical entertainment.
Packed in with insanely addictive tunes, and playing very firmly to its fan base, it’s hard not to conclude that High School Musical 2 is a success. What’s more, there’s immense respin potential to the disc, and given the raging success of the first movie, this one too is set to be enjoyed time and time again.

I purchased this DVD for my 5 year old neice who is a great fan of High School Musical she now has all the DVD's and the outfit. She loves it and watches as often as she is aloud along with her younger sister.

This is a delightful, good-clean-fun type of dvd for your children or grandchildren. I enjoyed it as much as they did!! Good songs, good dancing, and a nice story to follow.

Looking forward to seeing my 5yr old daughter dance to this Xmas day (groan) A+++++...hang on this isn't the ebays is it..you want more detail..ummm it's a DVD. I think one of them was in Thunderbirds, which some have slated as a bad film, but I liked it and my kids liked it. Not has good as the gerry Anderson productions, but was directed by that guy who played will riker in star trek the next generation. Who has gained a bit of weight since then. Which is why I guess they picked him to portray one half of the capt.kirk character in that series. I guess he will be on Boston legal in a few years.

DON'T BUY THIS!!!
This is one of the worst DVDs i have ever had the misfortune to watch. It is a musical, but there should be more acting than singing and dancing. Read more

The best HSM for a singalong to. Just do what your children do.
Jump up and down, learn the songs or hide with a glass of wine. Fun in the sun.

AVOID!!!!
it was rubbish the disc played for a few mins and then it freezes if you put it on the song words choice its better but still jumps and freezes it was a totaly waste of money like... Read more

Not as good as 1 or 3 but keeps the kids happy !!

High School Musical
The young children(5years and younger)loved this DVD.The story line is awful, the acting worse but the show is just about saved by the music.
