Book Description

6 Oct 2008
Whooping Injuns, wandering cowpokes, grizzled prospectors, mysterious hombres in sombreros and masked outlaws - this is the untamed West of our childhoods, where the heroes are rugged and honest, the villains are yellow-bellied cowards and only the toughest survive. From the Great Plains to dusty Texan trails and lawless prospecting towns, every thrilling story in this book is jam packed with gunfights, jaw busting saloon punch ups, racing stagecoaches and tomahawk throwing varmints. So saddle up partner, grab your six-gun and prepare to ride into town.

Format:Perfect Paperback
Extremely precious collection with three works of Alberto Breccia, four works of Jesus Blasco (author of Steel Claw) and one story with Sergio Tarquinio (Storia de la West). Real elite of Fleetway. Shame that collection does not mention once any of these important names. Search engines will not relate this collection with mentioned big masters.

5.0 out of 5 stars FRom when cowboys were kings... 5 Jan 2009
Format:Perfect Paperback
In the 1950s, cowboy stories were hugely popular in Britain; this fat, lovingly assembled collection of cowboy comics from that decade shows why, with solid artwork and adult stories combining in an entertaining package.
