A masterpiece in childrens fiction which holds to me the same kind of magic in which Harry Potter does to adults and children today.
I first discovered the talent of Derek Denton as a child. While choosing a book from the school library, i came across 'Dont Go Near The Magic Shop', the first in the series of which 'Hiders And Seekers' is the sequel. I was instantly gripped with the story and the characters as their world was turned upside down, filled full of magic and the supernatural, i was hooked.
'Hiders And Seekers' promised more of the same and did not dissapoint. The same characters i now loved had returned for another journey into the unknown, a journey completely different yet as utterly compelling as the first. I have read these books over and over and yet i still feel the chill down my spine and my excitement brimming over as if id only just discovered them.
A book for everyone, dont miss out on the chance to get lost in your imagination.
