Product Description

HIDEAWAY HOSPITAL MURDERS - Greg Tenorly Suspense Series - Book 2. Suspense with romance.

Description: Macy is a live-in nurse who cares for a pediatrician's mother during the day, and fantasizes about the doctor at night. But when a seductive new woman comes into his life, Macy sees her dreams of happiness slipping away. As the wedding day approaches, she must make her move, or lose him forever. But the bride's evil sister will have something to say about that.

Across town, one of Greg Tenorly's elderly piano students is brutally murdered. He and his girlfriend begin to investigate, which ultimately leads them to the doctor's house, where they make a startling discovery: a secret hospital ward, buried deep beneath the house. But none of the patients are alive.

If you like violence in spadefuls then you will enjoy this.
I hated it.
The violence just went on and on reflecting the personality of the novels characters. Why invite these people into my home via a book when I would never entertain these people even as acquaintences or call them friends.
After describing the first lust for hurting people so badly I don't think it was necessary to be so graphic the next time.
I found myself paging through looking for the least offensive bits to see if the plot held together. The underlying plot was sound maybe the writer didn't want to have to dig further into the imagination but took the lazy route and just repeated the violence.
I would not reccomend this book.

Great Read 10 Oct 2007
By Stephanie D. Tullos - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
This is the second in the series and I really enjoyed how this book was tied to the first. Its characters seem like every day people and how they solved the cases were great. The first time I read the book I read it chapter by chapter on author's website. Now I have a copy of it. Thanks again for another great book in the series. I highly recommend it.

I spent the day reading this book during a blizzard. This is the second book in the series. I liked this book even better than the first. I have books 3 and 4 and can't wait to read them.

#2 is Better than the First 15 Mar 2011
By Mary B Sieczkowski - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
Usually in a series the second book is a disappointment after a decent or better first book. While I enjoyed The Bicycle Shop Murders, Hideaway Hospital Murders is much better. The character of Greg Tenorly is introduced in the first book and the storyline from Bicycle continues on some levels in Hideaway Hospital. You do not have to read Bicycle to enjoy Hideaway Hospital. Some of the plot is a stretch to believe, but overall it is an interesting, good story.
