It's very sweet and my little boy can't wait to open the flaps to try and find hen.
I would buy another Acorn Wood book. I also have other Julia Donaldson books which he loves.

Our little girl loves this book, and so do we - especially the page where squirrel has off-loaded the basket of washing on to rabbit. Rabbit's frown is priceless...

This is great for my daughters. At 18months they love the pictures, only thing is as it is a paper book it tears easily - but they love it!

hide and seek pig
this is not one of the better book by these authors, not much of a story and more really for toddlers, still lovely illustrations but a 2 mintue read really..

Lovely book with great illustrations
My son (1 year old) loves this book. The flaps are easy to open, and the illustrations are great. The story is repetative rhyming and flows very well. Read more

Lovely book
My daughter loves this book. It's her entertainment while I feed her, she loves to discover the pictures of the animals hidden behind the flaps of the book. A lovely toy-book.

Nice litte book
my one year old likes to lift the flaps and turn the pages, we have others in the Acorn wood range and he will bring them one by one to me to turn the pages
