cute and fun book

My daughter adores this book. It has an awful title, but the rhyming story and illustrations are wonderful. Leopard wakes up on his birthday and sets off to invite all his jungle friends to his birthday party, but he can't find any of them in their individual territories. The reader can see that they are hiding from Leopard, though, in order to have a surprise party for Leopard later. My daughter loves that I can never find the animals so that she has to point them out to me, and she goes nuts when Leopard comes home and finds them all there with a cake. We have read this so many times that I have it memorized and have often recited it to her in the dark when she has trouble sleeping. I don't think this is really out of print - my parents got this is as a packaged set of 10 Little Tiger Press books at one of the discount stores. The other favorite from the set is _I Don't Want to Go to Bed_.
