5.0 out of 5 stars An intruiguing insight into management skills, 23 May 2005
By A Customer
This review is from: Hidden Treasure: Learning to Lead Doesn't Have to be Dull (Paperback)
I found this book fascinating, easy to read and a really great approach to the different ways in which we can all benefit from management skills. As the author demonstrates, Learning to Lead needn't be dull - whether it's as part of your local sports committee, the education service or within a profit-centered organisation.

More than ever, we all need good inter-personal skills. This book gives you all sorts of insights that - if you put them into practice - will improve your relationships both at home and in the workplace.

5.0 out of 5 stars The potential of a learning journey, 27 April 2005
By A Customer
This review is from: Hidden Treasure: Learning to Lead Doesn't Have to be Dull (Paperback)
The author asks the question 'Novel, Textbook or a novel textbook?
It is all three! Learning made easy. For those on the learning path of self development, it will take you on a journey leading to the hidden treasure of human potential, where extraordinary things are undertaken by ordinary people, whose leaders use the basic skills of Communication, Leadership, Coaching, Delegation and Motivation. For those who coach, it will open up ways for you to encourage others to find their own solutions by leading them forward in these areas; and for those who just enjoy a good easy read, it will be a pleasant, uncomplicated and sometimes intriguing story which will give you plenty of opportunies to consider change in your own life.
