Product Description

Synopsis

This is a book based on personal experience. The author had a challenging childhood and developed some unusual behaviour methods to cope - she levitated at four, began meditating at thirteen and as a last resort would often leave her body. Hidden Secrets, Buried Treasure is a basic introduction to the world of metaphysics. It explores the concepts of spirituality, forgiveness and personal growth in the Twenty-First Century. It aims to help you discover how wonderful you really are, how to move from a feeling of helplessness, anger, hate and bitterness to a place of peace, how to move from disempowerment to empowerment.Through a series of exercises the book leads you through step by step stages introducing old concepts in a new way. It is an intense journey requiring dedication and commitment. This is no miracle cure, it won't change your life immediately, but it can set you on the path to finding your own hidden secrets and buried treasure.

5.0 out of 5 stars Advice from a friend, 13 Nov 2005
By A Customer
This review is from: Hidden Secrets, Buried Treasure (Paperback)
Self-help books can so often preach or offer spiritual advice that has no place in a busy 21st century. This book is different. The author has been through some bad times and is simply sharing her coping mechanisms with a wider audience. Reading this book is like being taken by the hand by a good friend. Easy to read but profound in a lot of what it says. Simplicity really is the key to getting out of some very dark places and this book gives you the courage to move on by following a very positive example.

5.0 out of 5 stars An cracking little book, 7 Jan 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Hidden Secrets, Buried Treasure (Paperback)
...this is a self-help book. The author's style is simple and unlike many books of this ilk she doesn't promise miracles but there is a lot of useful tools at the end of each chapter.
She doesn't give you a 100 real life examples for every point she makes which usually results in me skipping a large part of other books in this genre. What you are left with is a slim and concise read that is surprisingly insightful, light and enjoyable.
I think we may have a classic of the future here.
Well worth a venture.
I particularly enjoyed the beautiful and simple illustrations that preceed each chapter.
All in all a cracking little book!
