About the Author
Beth Andrews has been an avid reader since childhood, and her love of the regency period began when she read her first Georgette Heyer novel in the '70s. Her previous novels published by Robert Hale are A Scandalous Secret, St George and the Dragon and Stolen Waters. Beth lives in the Bahamas.

Excellent and very different!,

I really enjoyed this book. The author is very talented, as this book is such a different style to Stolen Waters, but also a good read. The hero and heroine are not the conventional aristos of regencies: he is an innkeeper's son and she is similarly placed. I discovered this by chance in my library and will definitely be reading Andrew's other novels. She is a fan of Georgette Heyer and it shows!
