5.0 out of 5 stars wow 10 Jan 2006
Format:Audio CD
wow, i heard the saddist nation song, it was just amazing, it just blows my head into bits and pieces. i'll be honest sometimes i just put it on full blast in bedroom and just dance around jumping around the room (but thats secret).
i dont really like bands getting political, it kinda bores me, but when the quality of the music is this amazing, i dont care, i dont know much about music technically, but from wot my mates tell me, its amazing too. from me point of view, the uneducated view, its worth your money, its really heavy, but its just so catchy at the same time. 5 out of 5 for this album.

4.0 out of 5 stars screamcore with very swedish edge 14 Oct 2005
By sean paul mccann VINE VOICE
Format:Audio CD
darkest hour are screamcore with few if any clean vocals, they have galloping riffs and a very gothenberg sound, its an album that is relentless in its fury and its passion, there are no breakdowns which will suit those who dislike the metalcore sound, its fast and of course with the swedish influence its all very catchy and memorable, the album has no real standout tracks, they are all so fierce and furious but for those who like their metal not a million miles away from the sound of at the gates etc then take a listen to this ,you may just fall in love

4.0 out of 5 stars Loud and a mix of death metal. 20 Dec 2004
By casey - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Audio CD
Hidden hands of a sadist nation isn't a bad album. This being thier fourth album they've done a pretty well job of throwing down on the recording. There are alot of polotical view's from the bands perspective. It's a combination of death metal and hardcore. The opening song "the sadist nation" f*cking breaks your ears with angry metal. The songs are a bit similar at times from the rhythm of guitar's to some of the drum work performed. These guys don't mess around when it comes to sending a message. The song oklahoma is very intersting to listen to as the point stands out this band was arrested and held for hours in oklahoma by the feds for crimes they had not commited. Yes it is a bit hard to understand the lead singer's screams but give it a few run arounds. Its not that bad of a cd, other songs like vertitas, aequitas and for the soul of the savior are great tracks of just instrumental work. I highly recommend this album to anyone in the hardcore or metal scene. You won't be dissappointed.

5.0 out of 5 stars Political Views with a hardcore and metal mix=Winning combo! 27 Oct 2004
By Precision18 - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Audio CD
I just bought this cd today and i have to say that its the most unrelenting and brutal that I've ever heard. I know some people may disagree with their different points of view but this cd kicks undeniable ass! The singer is brutal and is familiar to Atreyu's Varkatzas but doesnt have so much of the guttural scream but still manages to conjure up strong feelings. The music is good and unlike most hardcore bands that use punk riffs this band goes for your balls with heavy metal riffs. This cd is varied and I love their musical lyrics. Now before you dismiss this band because of their political beliefs just realize of the times and era. Where living in a world of lies and these guys are singing and playing in what they believe in. This isnt a bad thing at all. And if you read the inside of the lyric pamphlet it hard not to agree with them. All in all this is one of the best cds Ive heard this year. Rock on!

5.0 out of 5 stars Greatest Album EVER 18 April 2007
By Corey - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Audio CD
This album by Darkest Hour is probably the best album I have ever heard. They are pretty much the best band on the planet. Anyone who rates this album poorly is deaf. Seven Day Lie is a stand out song but the whole album is great. I listen to it everyday. Buy it now if you want to change for life.

2.0 out of 5 stars Dissapointment 28 Dec 2006
By J. Michel - Published on Amazon.com

I guess I was expecting something more after hearing a few songs by Darkest Hour, namely The Patriot Virus and Sadist Nation. Most of this album is tedious and boring. I think this band is for teenagers that want to listen to hard music, but don't know any better. There are way too many mediocre metal bands out there, and this is one of them.

Sadist Nation 4/5

Pay Phones and Pills 2/5

Oklahoma 1/5

Marching to the Killing Rhythm 3/5

Misinformation Age 2/5

Seven Day Lie 2/5

Accessible Losses 3/5

Patriot Virus 5/5 their best song

Veritas, Aequitas 0/5 pointless
