Well, this is a massive move forward from the last album and definitely worth the long wait. Whilst the first album was pretty varied this is supremely eclectic, in an outstanding way, with the almost sea-shanty like HMS Immense through the dark, brooding atmospherics of Bumper Book... to the neo-classical 3 year plan. And that's just the instrumental tracks. The addition of vocals to five of these tracks really set this band apart from their contemporaries, and the instrumentation is that of a group with very bold ideas. This is very very much recommended - a contender for album of the year?
