An excellent book full of tales of the characters who have inhabited Belfast's long and often troubled history. This is not a dry, stuffy, academic book, it's full of life and people. What I really liked about it is that each chapter contains a different story so you can dip in and out of it as much as you like. It's well written and engages the reader in incident and rebellion. Whether you or your family are from Belfast or you are visiting the city this book will show you a side of the city that you will not have been aware of. An absolute must.
