There is a durable shell construction, a siped MDT carbon rubber outsole for brilliant traction in winter conditions and even the metal hardware on the outside of the boot is rust resistant.Comfort-Tec sockliner wicks moisture away from the foot as well as providing excellent, additional cushioning.Features Thermo-Dri which is a winter boot technology that integrates Thinsulate insulation and seam sealed waterproofing with a cushioned EVA midsole, active flex points and a four layer polymer material in the heel and toe. All this results in an insulated, waterproof that still manages to be flexible and lightweight.The Thinsulate insulation, made up micro-fibres that are ten times smaller than other synthetic insulations, traps insulating air and reflects them back onto the body and its own radiant heat.

I looked forward to receiving these and certainly on opening the package I was impressed by a sturdy looking boot with an attractive colour combo and good weight.
However I'll be returning them to amazon as they are sized extremely small. I am a size 5.5 UK but my toes were being pinched in size 39 EUR / 6 UK in these - and that was in stockinged feet, not wearing socks!
I reckon you must need to order one or one and a half sizes up to get a good fit. But I won't be going that route, and the reason is that the back of the boot moves a lot up and down against the heel. I think half an hour of wearing these and my heels would be rubbed raw.
The search for a pair of attractive winter boots which fit continues!

Looked lovely boots on arrival. But when I tried them on, wearing a thin pair of tights, they were way to small. I wear a size 3/4 depending on width of fitting. Boots seemed wide enough but very very small. I ordered a 4 and would have needed at least a five to wear with thick socks, but the heel slipped up and down at the back and Im sure it would have been blister city within a few hours of wear. Sadly returning and ordering another make/model.

So glad I bought these. They are comfy, not too heavy and look great with jeggings. All I need now is the snow or icy weather to test the durability and weatherproofing!
