I tend to wear boots most of the time due to having weak ankles. These were sold by Amazon for a great price during their black Friday promotions before Christmas. I find them comfortable to say the least. They are well made and appear very durable indeed. They support the feet and ankles very well. The soles have deep tread and grip very well on all the surfaces I have tried including, moorland, woodland, open grassy fileds with slopes and lanes. Cleaning is easy with a stiff brush, they come up looking like new. A great pair of boots with no issues so far.

Loved these shoes from the first moment i put them on - they fit very well, had great adherence on almost any kind of surface ("almost" since wet metal is kinda tricky for any shoe), and they're a pleasure to walk/run/climb while wearing them.

My main gripe with the shoes is the way they eat into your ankles. The inner stitching between the shoe and the ankle support is very stiff and puts a lot of pressure on nerves and ligaments in the ankle, causing quite a lot of pain after one or two hours use.
They were probably designed to be worn exclusively with thick socks but that leads to overheating and sweating.

If this issue was solved they'd be the perfect shoes.

Bought these boots as a cheap replacement of some Karimoors I had. They are a little tight around the foot ( I actualy though they were too small for me at first) but some breaking in has helped. They are quite heavy boots, the sole is quite hard which can be uncomfortable after a while. There is not much give in the tread/sole which has made mu feet ache once in a while. The water proof capability seems quite good, my feet didnt get wet in the snow this weekend but they did get cold!!

For £20 they are worth breaking in, I have never had a pair of Hi-tec boots before so it has been interesting. For the price they are certainly worth it aslong as youre patient - the karimoors could be worn from the box.
