Insulated winter bootsthe insulated collection introduces a new technical construction with insu-lite, a lightweight blown-eva shell that takes the place of a traditional heavy rubber shell. low-profile by design, this collection is incredibly versatile and suitable for every-day wear during challenging winter weather. hi-tec's exclusive thermo-dri technology supplies waterproof comfort and warmth via thinsulate™ insulation.
Product Description
A hard-wearing boot made with a synthetic upper that provides brilliant protection, durability and comfort. There is a durable shell construction, a siped MDT carbon rubber outsole for brilliant traction in winter conditions and even the metal hardware on the outside of the boot is rust resistant. Comfort-Tec sockliner wicks moisture away from the foot as well as providing excellent, additional cushioning. Features Thermo-Dri which is a winter boot technology that integrates Thinsulate insulation and seam sealed waterproofing with a cushioned EVA midsole, active flex points and a four layer polymer material in the heel and toe. All this results in an insulated, waterproof that still manages to be flexible and lightweight. The Thinsulate insulation, made up micro-fibres that are ten times smaller than other synthetic insulations, traps insulating air and reflects them back onto the body and its own radiant heat.

These boots are ok for the money but not Waterproof !. Sent first pair back as they let water in, second pair are the same not Waterproof ! They are warm and Comfortable but get a pair of sealskinz socks if you want to keep your feet dry !.

These boots are totally value for money , well made and very warm for the winter days and light on feet , the tread works fantastic on frozen ground , well worth buying.

I always wanted to try out hi-tec boots and I am not disappointed. These boots are light and comfortable, but be aware with sizes! If You are 8,take 8, if You are 9 -take 9,otherwise You will get boots,that will be too huge for Your feet.
the lacing system is good and if you lace them up tightly, they feel quite stiff.And also There is enough room to tuck jeans into the boots.
