HP Business Nylon Backpack offers a sturdy, all-purpose backpack for mobile professionals and students alike. Constructed from durable nylon, with extra padding in the back and shoulder straps, it is designed with comfort in mind. A foam padded handle also makes it easy to lift or carry. Plenty of room is available for materials and books in the three zippered sections, plus an external slot for a cell phone or PDA. Easily transport a notebook up to 17.3-inch, or store a mini or thin and light notebook up to 12.1-inch inside a neoprene built-in pocket. And just for fun, the headphone pass-through slot ensures access to an MP3 player you can also store inside.

I ordered this after buying a Targus which my 15.6" laptop would not fit in despite the description stating it would fit upto 16", (have sent this back).
The HP laptop bag is an excellent buy @ £24. It has loads of room for my laptop aswell as another pocket for a Netbook upto 12.1". There are 2 more compartments where folders, books, various leads or accessories can be stored. There is also an expandable netted pocket on one side for a bottle and the other side has a pull-out ID Flap.
It is very well protected both inside and out with wide padded adjustable shoulder straps, one with phone pouch. The zips are very easy gliding around each section and there is even a pocket in the middle compartment for your iPod etc and pockets for business cards, pen holders.
The only downside I found is there is no 'Velcro' strap across the top part of the laptop pouch, but this is very minor and I could not fail the bag for it.
The overall construction appears to be very good, as you would expect from HP. All stitching is tight and plentyful, with extra padded back protection. Lightweight and comfortable to carry, would recommend to anyone.

I research and review anything that I consider buying to the nth degree. This is the first review I have written and only doing so because I think this item is excellent value for money. I looked at several 17" laptop bags prior to opting for this one and even then waited til i'd had it awhile before considering reviewing it.
It arrived quickly and was extremely well packaged, the first thing I noticed was the quality of finish, I am particularly fussy about this type of thing as I like my purchases to last. It takes my 17.3" laptop easily and is well padded for safety. That said it is still relatively compact so I do not feel like an astronaut preparing for a lunar mission!! It is well compartmentalized and has several zipped pockets inside and out which is handy if you're wanting to keep something safe and out of the way. The straps are well padded, as is the section that goes against your back providing excellent support. I love the padded carry handle on top and the double toggles on the three main zips that allow for ease of access. It also has a pouch on one of the straps for an ipod or phone. All in all it is a well thought out, well constructed piece of kit which I would recommend to anyone. As I mentioned earlier this is my first review and no i do not work for HP i just think it was worth my time reviewing which will hopefully help you make an informed decision. take care and thanks for reading :-)
