Fun:
I got this for Christmas 2007 with high hopes. But unfortunately it turned out to be a nasty surprise. The level of detail is so low that I wonder if the developers have ever visited the line.
The Class 365 is really horrible because the starting sound is the same as the GNER's Class 91, and when you drive the class 365 it crashes after a few seconds so you have to turn the quantity of sounds down. There are only 10 activities to play, and three of them feature the East coast mainline only and no part of the Hertford loop, and another two of them are only boring Empty Coaching stock workings. There is only one activity that I find fun, that is the King's cross to Stevenage express run with a Class 91.
None of the activities start or finish at Hertford North and there isn't a bridge at the northern end of Hertford North station plus there are extra sidings which do not exist. The only really good thing about this add-on is the Emirates Stadium at Finsbury Park.
Steer clear from this unless you really want the line itself. East Coast Express parts 1, 2 and 3 are much more fun so just get them. Really give this one a miss.

Fun:
Guys i have two sides to this reveiw, i think that the class 365 loco is rushed but if you have a newer pc, then u can turn the quantity of sounds up to full and this sorts the problem out of having loco noise in the passsanger cabin. on my opinion i dont think the activities are boring but could be a little bit more varied but i solved tht problem by creating my own activities. you can do this by carrying out the following steps:
1. go into start
2. all programes
3. microsoft games
4. train simulator
5. train simulator editors and tools
6. open ts editors and tools
7. select activity creator
8. select the rout you wish
9. title the new activity
10. your away, create what u like
that is how i solved the activity and the class 365 problem.

Not one of the better parts of the ECML, I get the impression that this release has been rushed with very little concern for accuracy.
More then one of the activities involves the east coast mainline only and no part of the Hertford Loop.
No activities start or finish at Hertford North and there are extra sidings in silly places at Hertford North which do not exist at the real station plus the bridge at the North end of the station is missing.

This game is rubbish
The only good thing about this is the stadium at Finsbury park. The class 365's are rubbish because that ain't its starting powser 9it is the same as the gners class 91. Read more
