From Herpa's Yesterday Series, in the colours of BOAC, is this beautifully detailed 1:500 scale die-cast model of the Boeing 747-136, registration G-AWND. This is definitely a must-have for any Boeing or British Airline collection. G-AWND was acquired by BOAC in 1970 as the 4th of eighteen in this series, replacing the Boeing 707-400 and received the name Christopher Marlowe. Herpas precision die-cast metal airliner series with quality tampo printed detail are a fantastic range with a huge range of airliners and liveries to collect. The superb quality of Herpa Wings models is outstanding and can readily be compared with the high quality of Gemini models. Although not released in official limited editions, Herpa Wings models are only released for a very limited period of time making the models highly sought after by collectors.
